عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ السَّلَامَ اسْمٌ مِنْ أَسْمَاءِ اللَّهِ وَضَعَهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَفْشُوا بَيْنَكُمْ

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, Allah is pleased with him, reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, peace is a name among the names of Allah. He has placed it on the earth, so spread it between yourselves.”
